How Perfect Noggin Supports Natural Head Shaping
How It Works
The Perfect Noggin was designed to be the most ergonomic and clinically effective head shaping surface available to promote normal cranial growth for your baby.
The recessed cup contours to your baby’s head
An anatomically shaped recess gently cradles the head, evenly distributing pressure.
Your baby is safely aligned and supported
The Perfect Noggin keeps your baby’s head, neck, and torso in a neutral position, supporting a clear airway while they sleep.
Over time, this promotes natural head shape
Many parents notice visible head shape improvement within 4–6 weeks of consistent use.

For Parents Who Love The Details
Discover the clinical research that shaped the Perfect Noggin.
Study 1: Modifiable Cranial Cup vs. Repositioning and Cervical Stretching
This randomised clinical trial compared a modifiable cranial cup to traditional repositioning and stretching techniques for early correction of deformational posterior plagiocephaly. The study found that the cranial cup was more effective in correcting head shape deformities.
Study 2: Plagio Cradle Orthotic in Early Infancy
This study evaluated the use of the Plagio Cradle orthotic device in early infancy for correcting deformational plagiocephaly. Results indicated significant improvement in head shape with the use of the orthotic.
Study 3: Prevention of Deformational Plagiocephaly in Hospitalised Infants
This randomised controlled trial assessed a new orthotic device's effectiveness in preventing deformational plagiocephaly in hospitalised infants. The device proved effective in maintaining head shape symmetry.
Study 4: Use of the Cranial Cup in Premature Infants
This study focused on the use of a cranial cup to correct positional head shape deformities in hospitalised premature infants. The findings supported the device's effectiveness in improving cranial symmetry.
Study 5: Feasibility and Safety of the Preemie Orthotic Device
This research evaluated the feasibility and safety of a preemie orthotic device in managing deformational plagiocephaly in extremely low birth weight infants. The study concluded that the device is both safe and effective.
We’re here to answer all your questions.
How soon will I see results?
Results vary but are generally visible within 4-6 weeks of consistent use.
How long will my baby take to adjust?
Some infants may take a few days to get comfortable lying on the Perfect Noggin and some will take up to 2 weeks. Most parents tell us that after a brief adjustment period, their infants loved sleeping on the Perfect Noggin and slept better than ever!
How long should my baby use the Perfect Noggin?
Your baby should stop using the Perfect Noggin when torticollis (if present) is fully resolved, they are older than 4 months, and you are satisfied with their head shape. Alternatively, you can continue using it until they start rolling from back to belly.
How many hours per day does my baby need to sleep on the Perfect Noggin?
Your baby should ideally spend all sleep time on the Perfect Noggin, but at minimum it should be used for overnight sleep. The more you can use it, the better the results.
